Happy National Scrapbook Day--Jillibean Soup Blog Hop

Happy National Scrapbook Day! I am happy to have you visit on the Jillibean Soup blog hop! I'm going to share with you my favorite Jillibean Soup layout that I have made recently. I'd have to say its this one:

I am so in love with the kraft frame placemat! I cut mine apart and used them to frame photos, patterned paper, embellies, and journaling. I made a diagonal stripe pattern with the gorgeous patterned paper for the background. Love the way it all came together.

Now onto the giveaway! How would you like to win this Spicy Social Soup Collection from Jillibean Soup??

Just leave a comment here by Midnight EST on Monday to be entered to win. The winner will be chosen at random and will be announced on the Jillibean Soup Blog on next week. In Her Element--Jillibean Soup

Sharing my latest Jillibean Soup creation today.

In Her Element:

Sigh…this one makes me long for summer. But it is right around the corner! I love the Jillibean Soup 12x12 placemats. I chose to use a white placemat on white card stock and back certain parts of the placemat with pattern paper. I then just added coordinating embellies, title and journaling.

Come back tomorrow for some more Jillibean Soup inspiration and a giveaway for National Scrapbook Day!

Bella Projects

Hi Everyone! I thought it was high time I share my last few Bella Blvd layouts on the blog. Sometimes life gets crazy busy and this little old blog gets neglected. We just got back from a 10 day road trip to Florida and Atlanta which was fantastic and just what I needed to get me back on track.
So here are my latest Bella projects.

On an angle assignment…"You're a Reader Now"

I think this one is my new favorite. I love the Max collection on the gray background and these adorable pictures of my cute little Max:) And now I am obsessed with layouts on an angle.

Pinterest Inspired…"Being Your Mom"
Here is the inspiration piece I was given:

I have to admit this one stumped me for a bit. But then I remembered this paper from the Family Forever Collection
And I knew I had to use it for this assignment. Here is what I came up with:

I drew the gray and white out of the inspiration piece as well and just played around for a bit. I added some red for a little bit more pop. This Family Forever collection is perfect for Mothers' Day photos.

And finally I had the wonderful opportunity to design for Becky Fleck's Page Maps with the Bella Blvd Design Team! Here is the sketch I was given:

And here is what I came up with… "Remember This Moment"

I love working with sketches and Becky's are always fantastic. Check HERE to see what the rest of the team did.

That'll do it for today…check back tomorrow for lots of fun stuff for National Scrapbook Day!

Scraptastic April Layouts

Hi Everyone! So excited to share my first month's work with the Scraptastic Kits. I got the Let Me Go Kit and the April This Life Noted kit. Here is what I created.

"On My Way"

This one was inspired by their piece of art I saw On Pinterest:
I knew right when I saw it it was the perfect inspiration piece for this Let Me Go kit. And I was so excited when it was chosen as the featured project over at Two Peas!

"Go On An Adventure"

Two of my favorite things in this kit are those Studio Calico acetate sheets and they chevron paper from Fancy pants…LOVE!

And my final layout with this kit…"Explore Your World"

I just love this one. Some of my favorite pictures from last summer. This adventure theme went so well with them. And again, the chevron Fancy Pants paper…swoon!

And here is what I did with the This Life Noted kit:

Love the exclusive cork and wood veneer in these kits. I mean that cork camera is amazing! These kits are jammed packed and I loved creating with them! Cannot wait to play with the May kits!
