Good Day Sunshine | Scraptastic

Hi Everyone! Today I am going to share two layouts I made using the Good Day Sunshine Kit and add on from Scraptastic.

This first done was totally inspired by the very fabulous emoji stamps! I used the solid "o" from the Counting Stars alphabet stamp set under the emoji stamps in different colors.

The second layout uses a similar circular design…this time inspired by the shape of the Sunshine wood veneer.

I'm just loving how these both came out! To read more about how these came together check out my post over on the Scraptastic Blog.

Around Here | February 2015

The February edition of around here:)

The month started off with a ski day with the kiddos…our only one of the season. It was cold but beautifully sunny and the conditions were amazing since there had been so much snow.

The 1st was also Superbowl Sunday and I am so glad we made it home for the game and saw the Pats win!

Malcolm Butler…my new favorite Patriot:)

There was a lot of snow in February. Record breaking actually. I lost track of how many snow days…I think they have had 6 or 7? They only went to school on one Monday in February. Trying to see the beauty in in but truth is we are all so done.

Still lots of American Girl doll play with all the snow days…

Alli's most looked forward to event happened…the Father Daughter Dance. She looks forward to this all year and is already looking for next year's dress:)

School and Rec basketball wrapped up. Max's CMS team ended their season undefeated. So fun to watch these boys.

And Alli's team improved so much throughout their season. They are so cute to watch at this age. And she was loving it…she can't wait for next year.
But definitely the highlight of our month was our cruise to the Bahamas!! A much need get away from the snow!

We had a great time…my only complaint is that it was too short! Now crossing my fingers for a sunny, warmer March:)

Bella Blvd Invisibles

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing 3 layouts I made recently using Bella Blvd's new Invisibles.  I have shared before that these are my favorite from Bella's new releases but I think it bares repeating…these are the best!!

Here is a layout using one of the Invisibles from the Campout Collection…

Sigh…this one makes me really long for summer! I sued the Cloud Invisible as a background for my layout. I just love the texture it brings to the layout.

How fun is that cute little fish paper?? I think it is my favorite from the Campout line.

Love You More...

Alli and I say this to each other every night before bed. We each try to be the one that gets to say Love You Most. Its something she actually got from the movie Tangled that Rapunzel and her mother did. I didn't know this when Alli started saying it to me so even though Rapunzel's mother is terrible it is a fun little game that we play:)

The Hearts Invisible is perfect as a background for this layout.

American Girl...
This was for a shaped layout assignment. I decided to use the circular shape of the flower Invisible plan my layout around that.

I cut a circle with white card stock a little bigger than the circle of my layout and wrote my journaling around it and placed it underneath the Invisible. I love that you can see the journaling through the Invisibles.

Atlanta…

On this layout I used the Invisible a little differently. Instead of using it as a background I used it on my layout. I cut the Invisible and backed it with white card stock to make it stand out. I wanted to use the design of the Invisible to point to my title.

I added the coordinating heart enamels on the o's.

I am sure there will be many more layouts with Invisibles in my future:)
