Photo shoot

I have a photo shoot this weekend for a senior and I wanted to test out the location beforehand...so I bribed my kids with $5 and Burger King for dinner to do a photo shoot there yesterday. Well, I loved the location but have such hard time with my 24-70mm lens.:( So a t least i know now not to use that lens this weekend. i did get some good shots of the kids...hadn't done a formal shoot with them in a while. Here are some of my faves:

They all thought we should use the self-timer...they love doing this and fight over who gets to push the button and run back to us:

Maxi...

I swore when he was born that I would not call him "Maxi", but I do...a lot.

I also swore when he was a baby that I would get one of those really great baby foot pictures. I tried but could never get a good one. The older he got I figured I blew my chance because his cute little baby piggy toes were turning into big stinky dirty boy's toes.

But alas, I was wrong. Hanging out on the front lawn I turned and saw this site and ran to get my camera:

He's still got 'em...cute little piggies:

I just love him so...my little Maxi Moo Moo.

This week's games

These were my games with my rented lense because I have to send it back this week:( It was a lot of pressure because I still hadn't gotten the shots I wanted...but I am happy with what I got this time:) They both had great games.

Max ran almost the whole field for a touchdown:

The closer he got to me ( I was behind the end zone) the blurrier my pics got..I was so excited for him though that I couldn't be upset that I missed some pics! 

He also played QB for the first time:

And he couldn't find his mouthgaurd and was afraid they wouldn't let him play so he played the game with this look on his face, he told me later, to fool them...I guess it worked!

He was in all his glory when the game was over:

Brandon also had a great game. He made a lot of really great plays, made a nice catch, caused a fumble, and almost had an interception.

And he was so happy to also play on offense and he got to carry the ball:

So hard to watch him get tackled...not sure I'll get used to that!

Her First Field Trip

Today Ally went on her first field trip with her two year old class from Appleseeds. They went apple picking and to the pumpkin patch:

(putting the apples in the bag was actually much more exciting for her than picking them off the tree)

and this one I just love...

She and her friends had a great time...they were all so cute. Hard to believe they are old enough to take on field trips...seems like just yesterday they were babies!.
