The First Day Of School

The boys started school Wednesday...I still can't believe summer is over. They were super excited yesterday...never seen them get ready so fast! Here are the pics:

And Ally found a way of entertaining herself (and us) while the boys were gone. Daddy bought her some days of the week underwear (jummping the gun, I know!). I think here she has on Monday through Wednesday:

And now we have a four day weekend...hoping to do lots of nothing since I have been running around non stop for the past few weeks!

Yup, It's Still Summer!

We were beginning to wonder with the cool fall like weather we had all week. But summer came back Friday with avengence. i think yesterday was one of the hottest we've had all year. And since I have been too lazy to bring all the kids to Grampa's pool, outside activities have looked like this:

I did get a little nicer Friday when the sun went down so we decided to grab some food from Front Row and have a picnic at Swazey Park. Here's some pics:

To blog or not to blog...

that has been the question for a while. Well, today I choose to blog. If for noone else but myself. I like the idea of being able to look back a year from now and see what we were doing. Because, Lord knows I forget stuff! And I am not good about journaling on my scrapbook pages. And it is also for Kerrie who is now far, far away...sigh. She needs updates. So here it is...me new blog.
