More Football

Just a quick post because it has been a while. Been a busy week. More football this morning for Max, bright and early at 8 am. This game was super exciting...first play of the game max scored his first of 3 touchdowns! I missed a photo of the first one but her he is scoring his 2nd and 3rd:

The ended up wining but it was a very close, exciting game.

On our way home we stopped by a yard sale and found this for Ally:

I see many photo shoots with this in the future! We also got her a little tikes playhouse for $25 and a bucnh of Disney princess dolls that she loves. I love bargains!

Now we have a little breather between games. Brandon's is at noon and then I promised the boys a trip to Toys R Us where they are giving a free Pokemon download today. Crossing my fingers for a short line!

This One's For You Dad...

Ally_and_grampa_web

Ally and Grampa at Max and Brandon's football games.

The games were both good. Max had his first win. He has two girls on his team who happened to score all the points for their first win...Go Girls! They are awesome and a lot of fun to watch. Both Max and Brandon had some excellent running plays too.

Also on Saturday, Max and I were craving these

Fried Pickles from Muddy River. Mmmmmm...they were yummy! We took them to one of our favorite playgrounds, The New Castle Elementary school and had a little Fried Pickle picnic. We also needed to do our annual picture with Daddy their. Last year we did this

on Al's 40th birthday there. So we decided to make it a September tradtion. This year I got this

There has been a lot of changes in hair this year, that's for sure!

5 Minutes 57 Seconds

...is how fast he can run a mile!

Img_2445

I am so completely impressed! I had no idea he could do this! He came in 31st out of about 150 boys, 4th and 5th graders. This was his first Cross Country meet. And I had never been to one either and had no idea how exciting they are. It was so much fun to watch these kids run their hearts out!

Meanwhile, while I was having so much fun watching Brandon, this one had other ideas:

She found a little dirt pile, and well, the pictures speak for themselves:

It was better than the alternative of risking her life on the jungle gym jam packed with kids. FYI local family members: Billy and Brandon have meets for the next 5 Wednesdays at 4:00. The next one in in Stratham (9/26) and I highly recommend coming if you can make it!

She loves to get right into the boys play. They were playing football with Daddy and she thought she was totally in the game

and I know this one is blurry but I totally love it...you can see the attitude in her walk...arm swing in full gear

And this is what I got when I attempted to sit on "her" basketball

Football

Watch out for this guy

and he could go

all

the

way...TOUCHDOWN!!!

Img_2136_crop

Yeah Max!!! His first touchdown! He actually had another one later...he intercepted the ball and ran it back for a touchdown but apparently in flag football when you make an interception you can't run. So that one didn't count.

And Brandon had a game at the same time. He also made an interception and had a lot of good running plays.

billy was Quaterback a lot and did awesome! It was a lot of fun to watch. It worked out well with them playing at the same time. the fielsd are right next to eaxh other and it seemed like when Brandon was in Max would be out and vice versa.

And then we came home just in time to witness Ally's first Poo on the potty! (Brandon wanted me to take a picutre of the actual poo for Brett and Jake but I will spare you all this!)

It was a fabulous Saturday!

So Lucky

Look who I got to spend my day with yesterday

Img_2057_1

I can't believe Armani is already 6 weeks old! She is the cutest little thing and such a good baby. Amber and i took the girls to a the Childrens Orchard to see what we could find. Ally loves that place...she sits in all the little baby swings. I found a few treasures including a brand new Pottery barn Kids crib sheet for $7.

This morning both Brandon and Max have flag football games. It is drizzling...not enough rain to cancel, but enough so its is not so much fun for me! I really want to take some pictures since I missed their first games last weekend. So hopefully i'll have more photos to post later!

Totally Blog Slacking

Told myself I wouldn't blog slack but I have not had much computer time since coming back from Florida. I have been totally inspired by Kerrie and Jeff's gorgeous new house to come home and do some decluttering. I tackled the boys room on Sunday...Took a car load of stuff to Good Will. And Monday Al was inspired to take apart the bunk beds and we surprised them with a new room setup when the came home from school. I next need to tackle the scrap room which is being completely overtaken by Ally's toys...I can't have that! And Ally has been a little needier this week...not sure if it is because I was gone or she is cutting teeth.

Anywho..I had a great time visiting Kerrie and these guys (click on any of these to make them bigger)

(Did you ever think that they would have a palm tree in their backyard?)

This is one of the first things I saw when I got there

Img_1764

We talked a lot about their school which is pretty intense compared to SMS. He is working really hard and on Friday came home with this:

Img_1836

That's right..he got a 91%...Yeah Brett!!!!

I also had a lot of fun watching them in here:

Img_1844

Yup...its raining..a nice afternoon shower which they thought was awesome to swim in. And actually Kerrie and I went in everyday too..the pool is great! And their outdoor area around the pool is awesome

Img_1794

And these little guys are evrywhere

Img_1871

As are these signs:

I had a great time and can't wait to go back! Can't wait to bring the kids next time...Thanksgiving is going to be so much fun!

Off to Florida!

I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow for a quick visit with Kerrie and the kids. Can't wait to see them and check out their new town. Excited and nervous...scared to fly and leave my kids. Hoping I will get some sleep while I am there...haven't had much in the past week. Not sure if it is the Claritin or just plain old insomnia.

Didn't due much this weekend becuase of the lack of sleep catching up with me. But yesterday I did manage to bring the kids to Grampa's pool and then do a little beach photo shoot with them that I have been meaning to do all summer. Seeing as I was by myself they didn't come out the greatest...I always had to have my eye on Alliana who I thought for sure was going to dive in the water at anytime. i think they had fun though. Here are my favorites:
