December Daily Days 1-5

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing the first 5 days in my December Daily. I am having so much fun with this project this year..definitely my favorite one to date. This is my fourth time doing a December Daily and feel like I have found my stride this year. I am Using Ali Edwards main kit as well as some past kits and pieces from Studio Calico's Keystone Collection. So here are my first 5 days:

Day 1:

This is the first year I have embellished the inside cover of my album and I love it! I use Ali's silkscreens and paint, a chipboard tree from a past kit and a gold chipboard heart.

Day 2:

On the 2nd my daughter and I went to see the Nutcracker in Boston. For the first part of Day 2 I used a mailer that I received about the Nutcracker and found a photo online of one of my favorite scenes from the ballet. On the second part I print a 6x8 photo of my daughter in front of the sign and a photo of the pretty lights in Boston Common. I cut the "twinkle" on my Silhouette. It is a digital element from Ali's shop.

Day 3:
I kept Day 3 pretty simple. I went to see "Its A Wonderful Life" the musical with my mom and sisters.

Day 4:

Day 4 was gingerbread house day! I made a flip up page by cutting down two of the Simple Stories Snap flip up 4x6 page protectors and fusing them with my fuse tool. I slip in a piece of the gingerbread house box from Trader Joes.

Day 5:

Our first snow day and probably my favorite page in the album so far. We didn't have any snow last december...as I type this we are having our 3rd snowstorm this month! The "winter wonderland" is an older digital element from Ali's shop. Loving the large photo spread across two pages.

Hoping to have some good lighting tomorrow to photo graph the next few pages tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!

Alli had the most awesome Granny costume this year!

Scraptastic's August This Life Noted Kit

Hi Everyone. I am realizing that I did not post my August This Life Note spreads! So here you go...

Week 32
Even though this was a pretty ordinary week with some less than stellar iphone pics, it is actually one of my favorite weeks in my album so far. And it is not my normal, go to color scheme.I love those two tone puffy alpha stickers and the cork embellishments.

Here is a closer look at each side:

And here is my Week 35 which was the week my kiddos went back to school. I used the August This Life Noted Add On for this one:
This add on is fantastic and perfect for back to school week! Love the acrylic word and that apple washi strip was such a cute addition to the First Day facts card.

Thanks for stopping by!

This Life Noted June Kit

Hi Everyone. Today I am sharing my lastest This Life Noted spread using the June This Life noted kit. I still have a few weeks to finish up in my 2015 album so I went back to that for this one. It was kind of nice to use the 12x12 size again. Considering going back to this size again next year. Here is what I came up with for my Week 18 2015:

A Just for Fun Layout!

As most of you have probably heard the Scraptastic Club is no longer making scrapbooking kits. I am totally sad about this! They are however still make the This Life Noted pocket page kits and I am continuing on the design team working with those kits. (They are also making Planner kits as well, but I am not working with those). So this has opened up some time for me to scrapbook not for assignments!

I ordered some of the new Crate Paper Cool Kid Line and also some of Shimelle's new Go Now Go line. Love both of these!! So I sat down to create something the other day. My oldest son just left for college so my first thought with the Cool Kid line was that I was going to scrapbook some older pictures of him when he was little (there has been lots of reminiscing going on over here the past few months). But then I did this instead:

I used the large Laina Stamp from Studio Calico to create my long title. I was super bummed to miss out on the mini Laina last month so I figured I should actually use the large ones I have already:) Love the font of this stamp! Really love how this one came out.

Are You Gonna Go My Way | Scraptastic Kit Club

Hi everyone! I am here today sharing my layouts using the exclusive kit from Scraptastic...Are You Gonna Go My Way!

This kit was perfect for documenting my oldest son's recent adventure skydiving! I wanted to use an enlargement for this layout because the photo is just so cool. I added some tags under the photo and some embellishments onto the white space in the photo. Here is how it came out:

I am so happy with how this came out!

I was also inspired by all of the airplane elements in this kit to document my son's trip he took across the country last summer. Here is that layout:

I just love all the die cuts in this kit. I used quite a few of them to embellish this layout.

My third layout is about a different kind of adventure...reading! I documented my kids love for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

Once again another fantastic kit from Scraptastic Club!!

Happy Father's Day | Imaginisce

Hi everyone! I have a new layout up on the Imaginisce blog in honor of Father's Day coming up. For this layout I mixed the Sunny Collection with the Parrtty Me Hearty collection. Here's how it came out:

I used a pretty simple grid design for this layout and paired my photos with some of the journaling cards from the patterned paper. For more information on this layout head on over to the Imaginisce Blog!

Scraptastic Club's Cherry Pie Kit

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my layouts from Scraptastic Club's Cherry Pie Kit and Add On. The papers in this kit were amazing! One of my favorites was the exclusive paper in the Add On with the big quote on it. I knew I wanted to use it for a layout about my son's college decision. Here is what I came up with:

I paired the bright bold paper with elements of black in the other patterned paper and embellishments I used on the layout.

Another favorite patterned paper in the kit was the PinkFresh paper that was half hearts and half grid. I used it as a background for this layout about our Disney trip last summer.
Again I added some elements of black to pair with the fun colors on the papers. I also love the rubber embellishments in this kit...so fun!

I thought the Cherry Pie Stamp set was so awesome! I really loved just how it looked in the package and decided to make a background using it in that same formation. I placed them all on a 4x6 acrylic block and stamp it several times on white cardstock. Here's how that layout came out:

I just love this kit!!
