One Amazing Season

I am finally getting chance to post this after a busy but truly awesome Thanksgiving week.

This is my favorite layout I have done for Bella Blvd..I am so pleased with how it turned out. I was inspired by a quilt I saw on interest using triangles in shades of blue, green and gray. 

I added some stitching to give it some texture and used pop dots to give the stickers some dimension.

American Crafts Guest Designer!

I was so excited to get an email from Paige Evans asking If I would liked to guest design for American Crafts using their Peppermint Express line in November! I've got a layout up over on the Bella Blvd blog today. The challenge was to create a layout using a large title. This is what I came up with:

I used my Silhouette to make the title and enlarged it so it spread across the width of my page. I really like the effect of the bold, large title! Be sure to stop by the Bella blog to see what some of the other team members came up with!

Trip Down Memory Lane...Halloweens Past

Been reminiscing lately and thought I'd share some pics from Halloweens past. These kids just grow so quickly...I don't want to forget these memories of them when they were little. Brandon is too old for Halloween now...just doesn't seem possible. Here are some pics from Halloweens past (only what I could get from digital pics...someday I'll go back and find the really old ones!)

2007

A nerd and Psy (from gangnam style). Ally 6 and Max 11. 

Oh if I could turn back time I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Studio Calico Antiquary Kit

I am loving Studio Calico's October Kit Antiquary. I am especially loving the pieces of Printshop, Shanna Noel's new line. They are some of my faves ever and I can't wait to get my hands on more of it!! Here are the layouts I have made so far with this kit.

Here is another one of my Bella Blvd DT submissions...My Cute Little Witch:

Oh my...I just love this one! I believe Ally was 2 in these...how cute was she?? I love this Halloween line...how fun are those embellies and patterned papers?? I have lots more ideas in mind for them...perhaps a mini album of halloween through the years? I have been wanting to do one of those for a while and this line would be perfect!
