My babies are growing up...

The boys started the 5th and 2nd grades last week:

All Max wanted for back to school was this Randy Moss jersey...he couldn't wait to wear it! Brandon on the other hand asked for new backpack, sweatshirts, lunchbox, shoes, etc, etc...he definitely gets that from me!

And my baby girl has moved to a big girl bed:

She loves it and is doing really well! Now if only I could get her to potty train!

The last Hoorah...

before school starts tomorrow. A few days ago we took the kids to the beach for a pizza picnic. We usually do this at least once a summer but hadn't had a chance yet this summer. So I figured we better go while we had the chance. It was a little chilly but the water was warmer than usual. And the lighting was perfect:) Got lots of great shots, mostly of Ally and Brandon because Max and Damon got cold pretty quickly and spent much of the time wrapped in blankets with Daddy on the sand. 

And of course I made them all suffer through a couple of group shots:

So we'll miss you summer vacation! It has been such a fabulous summer!

And so it begins...

A new chapter in our sports life...tackle football. Yesterday Brandon had a Jamboree which was three mini, half field games. It was the first chance I have been able to see him play. It was a little nerve racking...I saw several kids limping off the field. but they really seemed to be having a blast. For these fifth graders it is their first year of this so they have been waiting for this for a long time. I managed to get a few shots...this is very different for me...I don't like that I can't really see their faces.

And speaking of waiting a long time for football...Max starts Flag Football tomorrow! Remember this post? He was so sad it was over and has waited all year to start again and it is finally here for him...so excited for him!

Maine

We spent last week on vacation in Maine. It was a little chilly but we still had a great time. The boys did tons of fishing and lots of swimming. I took tons of pictures, here are some of my faves:

Been Scrapping...

Lots! With the combination of yucky weather and Brandon having swimmer's ear we have been home a lot more than usual which has meant more scrap time for me:) And thank goodness I have had mojo! Thought I would share this little Disney mini album I made last week.











It was fun to revisit these pictures a few months later...I was a little Disneyed out after we got back:)
