Week 42 | Scraptastic This Life Noted

Riptide | Scraptastic Club

 Hi Everyone! Sharing my layouts made with the Scraptastic Club's Riptide kit and add on today. I think its safe to safe this kit will go down as one of my all time favorite Scraptastic kits...possibly my absolute favorite! The was by far the easiest kit to work with. The layouts just all came together so easily. Such a great mix of papers and embellishments. And the colors...oh my word...so in love with the colors!! That blue in Amy Tangerine's new line is my new fave! Here are the layouts I have made so far with Riptide...

Fairy House Tour

I really highlighted the blue in this layout. It coordinated so nicely with my daughter's sweater in the photos. I love those chipboard thickers...the colors are so fun paired with the woodgrain. Here are a couple more close ups...

Dream Big

This heart patterned paper was probably my favorite paper in the kit. I cut some of the hearts with my exacto knife and stitched them open, I then backed the open hearts with different patterned papers. I paired this with a large photo...a recent fave of my daughter at the beach. Here are some close ups of this layout...

Guest Designing for Bella Blvd

Hi Everyone! I am super excited to share the layouts I created as Bella Blvd's October Guest Designer. I was so excited to be asked to guest design and had so much fun playing with Bella Blvd's new Collections. I was sent Family Frenzy, Whatever Is Lovely, and Fresh Market to create with. Here is what I came up with:

"Camp 2015"

I used mostly Family Frenzy for this layout. I decided to play with circles on this page and even added a few circles cut from the Clear Cuts.  I balanced the circles with a photo collage from our summer lake vacation.

"Oh The Places You Will Go"

This is such a special collection and needed a special layout to go with it:) Again I added some Clear Cuts, this time in coordinating colors of the stripes on that fabulous chevron patterned paper.

"Yum, Yum"

Such a fun, bright collection! I made a square grid cut file for my Silhouette inspired by the grid paper in this collection. I added bits of patterned paper, stickers and embellishments in side the squares.

"One Year Later"

And lastly, another layout using the Family Frenzy collection. Love, Love, Love that Let's Take a Selfie patterned paper! It is so perfect for my family and all of our selfies:)
