The Big One Oh...

Brandon is 10 today:

My first born...can't believe I have been a mother for ten years! He has made all those years such a joy. I have been reminiscing the past few days and thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures of him through the years. ( I didn't go digital until he was six so these earlier photos are are pictures of the pictures)

He was such a gorgeous baby...here he is about ten months:

A rare one with me in it:

This is how he would tell people how old he was when he was 3:

Halloween when he was 4:

The day his life changed...he got his gameboy...hard to believe this was half his life ago...

These next two I think are my all time favorites of him...he was six:

Notice anything missing?...

Img_6440_vig

Yup...my baby girl fell last night into the coffee table and knocked out her front tooth! I just cannot even believe it. I always expected these sorts of things to happen to the boys...thought they'd be breaking bones, getting stitches, etc. Thought maybe the worst with a girl would be a barbie shoe up the nose or a self inflicted hair cut (both of which I realize may very well be in my future). But my little girl is proving to be far more of a rough and tumble kid than the boys were at this age. So we took a trip to the dentist this morning where they told me there was no other damage but there was nothing to do about the missing tooth...she will be toothless for quite a few years!

Her New BFF...

We got Coco on Friday and we are all in love! But she is definitely Ally's favorite friend (but I am not sure the feeling is mutual). The first thing she does when she wakes up or we come home is run to her cage and ask "Bunny?" And Coco doesn't seem to mind her too much. She actually lets her hold her like this quite a lot and doesn't run away when she puts her down which I am always surprised about! However, we do know when Coco has had enough of Ally...we see this:

We have had to have lots of talks about leaving her alone when she is in her tunnel...her little safe zone when she is not in her cage. Oh, and the boys love her too!

Easter

We had a really fabulous, low key day. It started for me with this greeting which I get every morning...her waiting at the end of her crib for me:

And then she pointed out her basket to me which she was completely content to marvel at from afar:

Img_5487

The boys had already tore through their baskets but were so exctied to help Ally with hers:

These bubbles were her favorite:

The boys got the speed stack cups which have been a huge hit:

The only planned activity we had all day was the egg hunt which was at our house this year. We missed Brett and Jake but were joined by Teagen and Keara which was fun.

It was freezing! I do not remember an Easter this cold ever! But the kids had a blast. Grampa helped Ally:

And she has enjoyed going through all her eggs:

The boys were hard to get on camera...they were fast...but here's a couple:

Phew...that was a lot of pictures! Hope you are checking them out from Florida Nana! We missed you all this Easter!
