Week in the Life | Tuesday

Tuesday's words and photos…

Dishwasher often gets loaded early in the morning. 

I've been dealing with an infection in my foot from an injury I got on the dock at the lake. So antibiotics for me…

10:19 am and Alli is still sleeping…

Doing some math problems and reading before electronics…Just starting this now in the last two weeks of summer vacation, I have to admit.

Smoothies for lunch, as always…

Brandon getting ready for his first day of school golf…

Alli and I ran several errands this afternoon…first up a trip to Twinkle Toes for new leotards for dance..

Then Dick's, Michaels, and lastly Hobby Lobby where Alli bought some fleece to make a blanket…

We headed straight to work to do the cleaning and she worked on her blanket and watched videos on her iPod…

And finally home for dinner…spaghetti and caesar salad.

Week In The Life | Day 1 Monday

I am participating in Ali Edwards Week in the Life project this week.  I wasn't planning on blogging my photos but the mood is striking so I am going with it! Here goes my Monday…

Soccer double sessions start this morning for my middles son, a freshman. So he started his morning making an egg sandwich:

And preparing for his morning session…it been several years since he has had soccer cleats. But he decided on soccer instead of football this year. Putting on his cleats while watching ESPN.

Checking my week ahead so far…

Work time for me…doing my work downstairs this morning so I do not have to turn on other AC yet. Its mid 90's and humid today.

Moved to office for printing portion of my work…

Much needed grocery store trip…

Lunch…smoothie and rice cake with peanut butter

Ended the day with a great trip to the beach with some family…

Top 5 Moments at Disney | Scraptastic I Lived Kit

Today I am sharing a layout using the I Lived kit from Scraptastic. This is hands down my favorite kit. The colors are so me! And they are perfect for Disney layouts! I have recently been really inspired to go back and scrap my Disney photos. We have been 10 times in the last 15 years I have only scrapped 8 pages and 2 mini albums! So this kit is perfect to get some of those memories documented. I decided to document my top 5 favorite moments from all of our trips (inspired by the 1-5 wood veneer). Here is what I came up with…

I am so glad I got these memories written down…it had been far too long!

Good Day Sunshine | Scraptastic

Hi Everyone! Today I am going to share two layouts I made using the Good Day Sunshine Kit and add on from Scraptastic.

This first done was totally inspired by the very fabulous emoji stamps! I used the solid "o" from the Counting Stars alphabet stamp set under the emoji stamps in different colors.

The second layout uses a similar circular design…this time inspired by the shape of the Sunshine wood veneer.
